ESP LTD MH-1000HS Tone
With the Seymour Duncan Hot Rails and Pegasus pickup comes a push-pull control for coil splitting. The Hot Rails brings powerful, full, and fat tone with a ton of sustain. The sound you'll get out of this guitar is great for classic rock, as well as more aggressive tones for hard rock and metal. The Pegasus, with its custom-wound coils and alnico 5 magnet, brings you a well-complimenting sound, with all the sustain you'll need.
ESP LTD MH-1000HS Feel
While neck-thru-body construction certainly contributes to the incredible sustain we got out of the MH-1000, it also brought a uniform resonance through the body, which made the playing experience that much more rewarding. Add in the mahogany body and flamed maple top with 3-piece maple neck and Macassar ebony fretboard, and you've got a lethal combination creating a balanced tone and comfortable feel in your hands.
Why We Like It
The MH-1000 is built to handle the heaviest rock and metal you can find, at the fastest speeds you'll ever need to shred. The Floyd Rose SE tremolo tailpiece gives you even more versatility as you'll be able to pull off monstrous bends, dives, and squeals without ever wondering if your next fretted note will be in tune.
