Fender has announced the new Albert Hammond Jr Stratocaster, celebrating the unique sound and retro-inspired style of The Strokes’ Albert Hammond Jr that helped usher in the garage-rock revival movement. With its unique sound, vintage style and one-of-a-kind pickup switching, the Albert Hammond Jr Stratocaster is the perfect guitar for launching your own musical revolution.

Reflecting Hammond Jr’s own modification, pickup switch position four activates the neck and bridge pickups in tandem, unlocking Tele-like two-pickup tones. Fender ceramic single-coil Stratocaster pickups were created specifically for this guitar, offering timeless singing, snapping, screaming and sparkling sound. For 1970s-era authenticity, the “bullet” truss rod system, large headstock with vintage-accurate logo and 3-bolt MicroTilt neck plate brings an aesthetic straight from the ‘70s into the modern day.
