Fender Parallel Universe Strat-Tele Hybrid & Nashville Telecaster Electric Guitars Released!
The new Fender Parallel Universe series, originally announced at Winter NAMM 2018, is one of the more buzzworthy releases in the guitar world this year. Fender will soon be releasing the first pair of guitars in this collections - the Strat-Tele Hybrid, and the American Elite Nashville Telecaster.
The Strat-Tele Hybrid is exactly what you would expect - featuring a Tele body, but with Strat pickguard and pickups, and a vintage style Strat tremolo. Powered by the Fender Custom Shop '69 Single Coils, this guitar has even more versatility that a typical Tele, with all the classic appearances.
The American Elite Nashville Telecaster is a top-shelf take on a popular Tele configuration. Featuring a Shawbucker bridge humbucker, and Custom Shop '64 Tele single coil middle and neck pickups, this Tele is built for the modern performer who needs a huge tonal palette. It also features a compound radius fingerboard and a smooth satin neck finish.
