Gibson Custom Shop Collectors Choice #39 Minnesota Burst

Here’s another Gibson Custom Shop Collector’s Choice that’s been beautifully rendered and is now heading to The Music Zoo!

For it’s 39th Collectors Choice guitar, Gibson Custom Shop is recreating a 1959 Les Paul owned by Andrew Raymond (UK) and rediscovered in Minnesota, original serial #9-1105. This marvelous Minnesota Burst top has maintained most of its original color with little wear and exemplifies the word flame. A beefy neck feel that eases into your hand will keep you playing for hours, while slightly off-balanced pickups offer classic “woman tone” lows, dark and sweet mids, and clear cut highs. We simply cannot wait to see and hear this one in person!
