The Traditional has a AA-grade flame top over a solid mahogany body - that's right, no weight relief on this Traditional! The mahogany neck has a rounded profile, and it's loaded with Gibson Burstbuckers and a hand-wired control cavity with Orange Drop capacitors. This is a great Les Paul for the Gibson purist.

Les Paul Traditional Tone
"Traditional tone" is a perfect starting point to describe this Les Paul. The classic combination of the mahogany body with maple top provides a meaty low-mid heavy foundation, and upper mid and sparkle are enhanced by the maple top. Burstbucker humbuckers, modeled after original-era PAF pickups, provide "just tight enough" low end, a smooth high end, and some serious midrange punch.
Les Paul Traditional Feel
This 2019 Les Paul Traditional boasts a rounded '50s style neck - with a good amount of chunk - it's very comfortable and easy to grab on to. It's rosewood fingerboard provides a softer and less dense feel than ebony or maple, while the 1.695" nut width is slightly wider than the older models, giving you string spacing equally suited for complex chords and quick string-skipping leads.
