Kramer Jersey Star Reissue Tone
This axe is driven by a set of Seymour Duncan humbuckers, specifically an SH-4 JN/JazzNeck in the neck position and an SH-4 JB in the middle and bridge positions, making it a go-to metal-lovers guitar.
The JN pickup boasts a clear and warm tone great for rhythm, while the SH-4 JB is perfect for those singing highs and aggressive harmonics. These things can scream if you really want them to.
Kramer Jersey Star Reissue Feel
The three-piece bolt-on Maple neck has a comfortable Elliptical “C” profile. The Maple fingerboard is smooth and definitely accentuates the high-end character of the humbuckers. Lastly, the nice and flat 16” radius and a 25.5 scale will have you flying down the fretboard with ease.
Why We Like It
We dig the vintage aesthetic of the Jersey Star that pays to the model of old. It comes with gold hardware, a Floyd Rose 1000 Series Tremolo, Floyd Rose R2 Lock Nut, and gold strap buttons. The guitar also has easily accessible truss rod adjustments, and two hex wrenches are fastened to the back of the headstock for the tremolo.
