NAMM 2017: New Mission Engineering Products!
NAMM 2017
We can always count on Mission Engineering to be one of the leaders of the pack when it comes to gear that becomes the linchpin of your setup, be it their indestructible volume and expression pedals or the super versatile Rewah-PRO.
New for 2017 comes these two products that could change the game for you if you’re into things like the Line 6 Helix, Fractal Audio AxeFx, or Kemper modeler amplifiers. This first product is the Gemini R: a high-power (up to 5000w) 19” multi-channel rack mount power amplifier with onboard DSP and software configurable outputs.
The Gemini R takes up a 2U rack space and is 19” deep. Features include extremely low distortion at high power outputs, XLR analog and AES-EBU digital inputs, a computer-controlled front panel with LED and LCD displays, onboard DSP filters with EQ, Crossovers, Compressors, and Limiters, and overall control via PC through USB or LAN connections.
The second piece of gear from Mission is this MiniME cabinet – which isn’t really so much a cab as it is an active full-range stage monitor for modeling systems that encorporates the traditional look of a half-stack cabinet. Do your Metal brethren got you down with your Axe FX II going through a PA with no cool looking black box behind you to provide stage volume (and let’s face it, looks)? Show them what’s up with this speaker box.
The weight on this cabinet comes out to a slim 29 pounds! It also features an ultra lightweight aluminum and neodymium LF driver with a 1” titanium HF driver, 450 watt power amp, onboard 56 bit / 96 KHz DSPs, onboard EQ, compressor and limiter, and a digital out for linking multiple devices together.
