These guitars feature details made to maximize playability and modernize Fender’s classic designs. The American Elite Series features a new compound neck profile designed to be the ultimate in playability. A modern “C”-shape at the nut, the rear of the neck morphs along the length of the neck to a modern “D”-shaped profile at the updated neck heel, for a uniquely comfortable playing feel.

An S-1 Switch allows you to easily activate alternate wiring options for even more tonal variation. Discreetly placed atop the volume control, the S-1 Switch engages or disengages with a mere tap for instant sonic adjustments. Fender also adds it’s 4th generation noiseless pickups. A quantum leap in pickup technology, these bleeding-edge pickups are the pinnacle of our designs, offering crisp, clear cleans as well as gigantic overdriven tones that are bursting with pure rock power—maintaining noise-free, vintage-style tone the entire time.
