Over The Top Crunch: MXR ’78 Distortion

One of the new pedals from MXR/Dunlop that we’re excited about for 2011 is this “Custom Badass” MXR ’78 Distortion.  Designed to provide a searing wall of old school distortion, the party really starts when you press that little white “crunch” button.  This slams the harmonic content of the distortion for an over-the-top tone perfect for scorching leads and gigantic rhythm playing.
