Our latest collaboration with Paul Reed Smith; the Santana Retro model with Brazilian rosewood fretboards and two body wood options!
The PRS Wood Library is the division of PRS where select dealers such as ourselves can take Core models like the Custom 22, 24, DGT or in this case the Santana Retro and outfit them with custom-color finishes and specific wood sets! For 2023, we've chosen to create two different Santana Retro models.
Santana Retro Wood Library Specs
The first option is a 10-top flame maple top built over a korina body and neck with a Brazilian rosewood fretboard. The second option is a 10-top quilt maple top built over a mahogany body with a solid East Indian rosewood neck topped with a Brazilian rosewood fretboard. Each guitar retains the traditional Santana Retro specs with its unique 24.5" scale length, original headstock design, Gen III tremolo and tuners and Santana humbucker pickups!
