Strandberg Boden Prog Bass 5 Tone
Go from slap bass to aggressive modern metal sounds thanks to the wide array of tones achievable with the Darkglass Electronics. We were amazed by the tonal variance we got from sweeping the pickup blend knob. The Nordstrand pickups are perfect for this bass, and respond well to pick/plucking dynamics.
Strandberg Boden Prog Bass 5 Feel
Strandberg's patented Endur-Neck works just as well on their basses as it does their Boden guitars! It really takes very little getting used to, surprisingly, and is advantageous when playing fast lines through the higher frets. It's built utilizing flat surfaces rather than a round profile, providing a more restful grip for the thumb while in the hand. This allows proper playing positions and a straighter wrist!
Why We Like It
You'll never have to worry about intonation on this thing, but in the rare occurence that you do need to tune, the tuners are in a super-convenient location, and don't require a death-grip to turn. Also, much like all Strandbergs, it is classical-position friendly with it's additional leg cutaway at the bottom of the body
