Summer NAMM 2018: EVH Announces 40th Anniversary Eruption '78 Replica Models
Summer NAMM 2018: EVH is ready to melt some faces this summer with an Eruption solo - played on the new EVH Eruption '78 replicas! Three new models have been introduced: The Super '78 (limited to only 8 pieces) The '78 Eruption Relic (limited to 30 pieces) and the '78 Eruption (limited to 40 pieces).
The original black and white guitar, home-made by Eddie, was the first "striped series" guitar, and it's one of the most important pieces of rock and roll history. These replicas are as close as you'll get to that and are essential pieces for the collector or player alike.
These come loaded with incredibly cool case candy, including a chain strap, custom made period correct G&G case, picks, stickers, concert photos, and so much more! The 8-piece Super '78 run also includes a headstock signed by Eddie Van Halen himself (right after he played Eruption on it, you even get a video of the process), 2 autographed vinyl records including a rare original Looney Tunes Merrie Melodies copy, a custom distressed case, and a signed concert photo.
