Yamaha THR-10II Wireless Amplifier Tone
The Yamaha THR-10II offers a wealth of different modeling sounds revealed through 3 bass amplifier emulations, 3 mic models for acoustics and electrics. Unlike many practice amps we've played in the past, the THR-10II doesn't color the natural guitar tone; i.e. a Strat will sound like a Strat, and a Les Paul will indeed sound like a Les Paul. For a combo amp the size of a lunchbox, this is one of the most authentic and sounding and feeling units of its type that we've played!

The reverbs, delays, and other available effects are exceptionally good. It gets even better when you plug the unit into the your computer for direct-recording.The ability to dial in the intensity is simple and straight-forward, which we like. We were in awe by how much the hall reverb managed to fill a large room!
Why We Like It
This THR-10II has the features any at-home player needs. You get wireless guitar connectivity (w/ the optional Line 6 Relay G10T transmitter), built-in effects, a variety of amp-simulation types, recording capability, and tube-like sound and feel all for a great price. Also, with it's rechargeable battery puts this amp in a league of its own, especially for musicians who like to record on-the-go! Oh, and did we mention the Bluetooth support? Unlike its predecessor, the THR-10II allows you to connect your phone with Yamaha's THR Remote app to create custom presets, and take complete wireless control of the THR-10II!
