1989 Les Paul Pre-Historic Reissue Sunburst Item Description
From a very 'if you know, you know' era of Gibson - this is a 1989 Gibson Les Paul in Heritage Cherry Sunburst, regarded as a "Pre-Historic" model. There were quite a few runs of guitars built by Gibson that down the path leaded to the famous line of Historic Reissue guitars which still continues today. This one has a stellar flame top and a neck with a 'medium slim' profile. It's not as thin as a '60 Reissue, more like a slim "D" shape. The guitar retains the original electronics. Cosmetically it's in very good to excellent condition for its age with just small dings around the body. The truss rod is maxed and it plays very cleanly at a medium-low action that it's set at. The original Gibson Chainsaw case is included!
