Asteroid Korina Natural Nitro Lacquer Black Pickguard 2021 Item Description

It's a wood that's quite hard to source these days - so when a Custom Shop says they have it, we're gonna use it! This is a Dunable Asteroid built of coveted Korina for the body and neck and finished in a natural nitro lacquer. The guitar features a block-inlaid ebony fretboard, two Dunable Grizzly humbuckers and fixed Kluson brass tailpiece. Grizzly humbuckers have a slight mismatch between the scatterwound coils makes for an airy, chimey top end, with a rounder midrange than the typical PAF-style pickup, and a tight bass response, courtesy of the Alnico IV magnet.

This guitar had a break at the neck heel and the repair was professionally done by Dunable at their shop - the guitar is still covered under Dunable's warranty! The work is extremely well done, and you cannot see or feel any signs of the original break!
