This is a new Tentacle from EarthQuaker Devices. The Tentacle is the very same classic octave effect from the beloved Hoof Reaper pedal in a stand-alone unit. It can be paired with a overdriven amp, fuzz, overdrive, or and pedal of your choice to create a wide variety of new sounds. It has no adjustable controls, just simply on and off. The V2 of the pedal now has Earthquaker FlexiSwitch technology. This relay-based, true bypass switching style allows you to simultaneously use momentary and latching style switching. For standard latching operation, tap the footswitch once to activate the effect and then tap again to bypass. For momentary operation, hold the footswitch down for as long as you’d like to use the effect. Once you release the switch the effect will be bypassed.
