This is the Furch Violet Master's Choice GC-SM acoustic-electric guitar. Furch guitars are a boutique acoustic company based out of the Czech Republic and used by players such as Al di Meola and Suzanne Vega.

The Violet Master’s Choice does not compromise on sound or workmanship. The soundboard of the instrument is made from carefully selected Sitka spruce, whose excellent acoustic properties are further enhanced by Furchs' innovative individual voicing process. The back and sides are made from African mahogany. This combination gives the guitar a perfectly balanced sound with clear highs, warm bass and long-lasting sustain. In addition to a number of dark decorative details, the beautiful natural appearance of the instrument is further enhanced by an Open-Pore Finish. The Violet Master’s Choice is fitted with the LR Baggs Stagepro Element system, which features a side-mounted preamp with a tuner.
