A Music Zoo x Gibson Custom Shop classic is back! This is a 1959 Les Paul Reissue with a torrefied flame maple top. Torrefied wood, also known as "roasted" wood is a process of removing excess moisture from the wood, in this case flame maple - to increase resonance and stability throughout weather changes, a healthy decrease in physical weight and a tone that's more akin to a guitar that has aged over years to have characteristics more like our favorite vintage guitars.

This Historic Reissue '59 Les Paul features a VOS Kentucky Bourbon Fade finish and two zebra bobbin Burstbuckers that have been underwound, giving you a more open sound with less gain pushing the front of your amp. We left the pickguard and the poker chip off this one to show off the flame top to its full extent!
