The quintessential Gibson acoustic guitar - the J-45 stripped down to a model which is one of the most attainable price points yet, still offering the Gibson name along with solid tonewoods and hot hide glue build-quality! This is the J-45 Special finished in Satin Vintage Sunburst. The J-45 Special has a round-shoulder body constructed of solid sitka spruce paired with solid mahogany back and sides. The top is reinforced with traditional scalloped X-bracing. The "concert depth" of this body is slightly thinner than a standard J-45 that gives it a comfortable feel along with a leaner and tighter bass response. Each J-45 Satin features a L.R. Baggs Element Bronze pickup system, and comes with a padded Gibson gigbag for safe and easy transportation!
