Les Paul Standard '50s Mahogany Top TV Yellow Item Description
This is the Gibson Les Paul Standard '50s model with a mahogany top and finished in TV Yellow, just like some of our favorite Junior and Special models from the 1950s Golden Era. The solid mahogany top on this one stands out within the Gibson Original collection. This is similar to some Les Paul Customs, many of which also feature all-mahogany bodies, and it results in a slightly warmer, more midrange-focused tone. Everything else you love about the Les Paul Standard 50s remains the same, including the mahogany neck with a rounded, 50s Vintage profile with a rosewood fingerboard and trapezoid inlays. It's also equipped with an ABR-1, the classic-style Tune-O-Matic™ bridge, an aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons, and black Top Hat knobs. The Burstbucker™ 1 (neck) and Burstbucker 2 (bridge) pickups are loaded with Alnico 2 magnets and wired to audio taper potentiometers and Orange Drop™ capacitors.
Includes: Hardshell Case and Paperwork
