The iconic Les Paul Standard boasts plenty of upgrades in it's "HP-II" or "High Performance" form. Features include a Modern" weight relieved mahogany body with AAA+ figured maple top, an asymmetrical Slim Taper profile mahogany neck, bound rosewood fingerboard with acrylic trapezoid inlays, Burstbucker Rhythm Pro and Lead Pro+ humbuckers with DIP switch, aluminum tune-o-matic bridge and stoptail, a wider adjustable titanium nut, and locking Grover tuners. This 'Paul is made for the modern player and will still please the purists.
