500/1 Violin Bass Vintage '63 Sunburst 2008 Item Description
If you want THAT sound, there's really only one option: a Hofner Violin Bass. This is a great piece, a Vintage '64 reissue bass made at the top-tier Hofner factory in Germany. The bass has a German spruce top over an arched flame maple body. It's in very good condition and is currently strung with flatwound strings (of course), and includes the original case! There is light playwear on the bass including scratches on the body and a small red mark on the back of the neck which doesn't seem to be able to be cleaned off.
