This is a used Matchless Chieftain 2x12" combo amplifier for local pickup only due to its size and weight. The amp is rated at 40 watts with two EL34 power tubes and two 12AX7 pre-amp tubes. The 40 watt Chieftain employs a tube powered spring reverb and a broad array of tone control knobs. The classic range of bass, mid, treble, brilliance and reverb controls provides quick access and visual confirmation of 5 tube based tone shaping parameters. The leather handle has wear to it, as pictured and there is some light wear to the tolex. All features of the amp work as they should!
