614ce Grand Auditorium Acoustic Brown Sugar Stain Item Description
With this used 614ce, Taylor has updated the Sitka Spruce Top by using torrefaction, which is a roasting process that offers better resonance and responsiveness – it also provides a slightly darker, Cedar-like look. The back and sides of this guitar are constructed from Maple to provide a crisp, bright tone that perfectly complements the Spruce top. A new customized bracing scheme and wood thickness brings out some new dimensions which produce enhanced warmth, balance, and sustain, while a Maple-specific bracing profile for the backs enhance responsiveness. The 614ce offers a special hand-rubbed Brown Sugar stain giving it a rich, vintage look without adding extra thickness to the finish. This guitar is in excellent overall condition with no notable damage.
