Video: Lee Roy Parnell’s Goldtop Les Paul

Country music artist Lee Roy Parnell gave us this insightful rundown of his Gibson Custom Shop signature Goldtop Les Paul at NAMM 2012.  Revered for his killer slide playing, Lee Roy explains what modifications and tweaks have helped him to get his sound.  These include  a “Player’s Cut” 7 degree heel for easy access to higher fret positions, Ron Ellis humbuckers, and “Big Block” pickup cavity design.  Thanks Lee Roy!
