The 900 Series instruments are among the most ornate guitars offer by Taylor, with elegant appointments throughout. Grand Concert, Grand Auditorium, and Grand Symphony body sizes are available in this series. The standard 900 Series Taylor is constructed with the classic combination of rosewood with a spruce soundboard although some limited edition models are offer with more exotic tonewoods like Sassafras, redwood, cocobolo, Brazilian rosewood, and many more. These instruments are equipped with Taylor’s renowned ES2 electronics system, although strictly acoustic versions are available as well.

Some of the distinctive features of the 900 series Taylors are the premium Gotoh 510 tuners, a thin gloss finish, and a beveled ebony armrest. The border of the guitar is adorned with ebony binding with koa and paua inlaid along the perimeter of the top. The neck and headstock are inlaid with the beautiful Ascension pattern. Each guitar comes in a Deluxe Taylor Hardshell case.
